Welcome

The Bemidji Early Childhood Center is a vibrant hub dedicated to supporting young children and their families through a wide range of educational opportunities and services. We offer Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) classes designed to help parents and caregivers foster their child’s development while building strong connections within the community. Our preschool classes provide a nurturing, play-based environment where children can explore, learn, and grow, preparing them for a successful transition into kindergarten and beyond.

In addition to classroom experiences, we provide Early Childhood Screenings to ensure children are developing on track and to connect families with resources when needed. We also offer Early Childhood Special Education services for children who require additional support, working closely with families to create individualized plans that promote growth and success.

The Early Childhood Center is also home to the Community Education department, the Related Services office, and other valuable programs that serve families throughout our district. Together, these services make our center a welcoming, one-stop location where children and families can find the support, education, and resources they need to thrive.
